Not to flog a dead horse, but what the heck. After a previous discussion on handling (Apologies to Mike, and thanks to Harper), I took the TE in for a wheel alignment at a local shop. Turns out the castor was whacked; one at +1.0 and the other at +3.0. I had it set to 4.0 on both. Luckily the wind was blowing hard here today, and after the adjustment, I took it out for a test and it rides the way it should; I can feel the wind hitting the side of the 4R, but it doesn't steer it anymore. So, for those of us who have been wrestling the mighty 4R down the highway, check it for castor angle first. $97 for the work. Much cheaper than a new set of rubber. But I will be throwing some Destination A/T's on just cuz the Dueler 684's look so wimpy.
