One click to unlock on wireless receiver

I have the dealer programmable options on my aftermarket deck that I just installed last week on a 2016 Limited with Smart key. The OEM deck did not have it.

The option for all doors unlock with drivers door only changes when I grab the outside door handle to unlock. With the fob it still only unlocks the drivers door.

I have searched countless forums and was under the impression this is not an option for the SR5/trail key only available on the limited. I have techstream installed on my computer and went through every dealer setting and customized my vehicle the way I wanted to. One click to unlock was not an option I could find in techstream. I also emailed my dealer to ask if they knew something I did not and they said it could not be done on the SR5.

That is exactly what my dealer told me when I asked them to enable one press unlocking. Only available on the limited with smart key, at least for my model year. (2013)

They could certainly be wrong, but if they were, it wasn't because they were trying to get out of doing work. They changed some other programming for me at the time for free - they just couldn't enable one press to unlock all doors.

Picked up a 2016 Trail and was wondering if this is possible? Calling up dealerships vary, some say they can enable the "one button press unlock" and some say they cannot.

I also have the Techstream + USB cable and this setting is not anywhere to be found.

Is the option to unlock all doors with 1 press available only for the Limited models with SmartKey fob?

maybe its to prevent premature wear on all the door locks actuators since 99% of the time you only need one door to unlock? :lock1: (never noticed this smilie but it seems fitting) I thought I saw a thread on here about repairing the lock actuator since it is rather expensive.

At least for me now since the 4Runner is no longer the family vehicle.

This is one of those things that you can have the dealer change via a laptop that they have from Toyota. Its free while under the bumper to bumper warranty 3/36. Or you can try the secret code using the brakes, lights, and fob. It'll drive you crazy though.

I have the techstream software that the dealership uses and have checked dozens of times. Its not possible to program unless you have the LE remote or go third party.
