your title is "one month 4r owner", so, what do you think? I also have owned a 4r for about one month (11 sr5 with some options, nothing special) and I have to say I really like the vehicle. I bought a Pilot at the end of Feb. this year and was not happy with it at all. To make a long story short, I had transmission (or what I think was transmission) issues with it and the dealer was not at all helpful. Finally gave up and traded it in for the 4r. Only took a $500 loss from Pilot purchase price to what they paid me on the trade in, so I think I made out ok. Although there were some things about the Pilot I liked better (storage compartment in the rear cargo area, ease of getting in/out of the third row), the positives on the 4r far outweigh the Pilot. Gotta say it was a good decision. The other big thing I notice is the difference in posts on the two blogging websites. Pilot has a similar blog site as this one, but it seems like every post I see has to do with mechanical issues or things breaking down. This site seems to be mostly the "look what I did to my 4r" or "how can I modify this..." type of thing. That speaks volumes to me. Anyway, would like to see what you think about your ride and welcome.
