Obviously I can't speak to durability, but the two biggest reasons I bought them were "fit and comfort".
very straight forward installation, fits snug, although they tighten up and fit even better after a few days.
This is a picture I took immediately after I just tossed them on. I went back and snugged them up and no after 3 days they fit like a second skin.
They add enough padding to make a VERY comfortable seat, and I commute in mine 2 hours a day!
