Prolly a big no no to start a second thread about the same topic, but I am really getting concerned about this whole front differential/cv joint stuff. I am going to order the whole joint this time and attempt to install it again, but I need to order the dust cover that slides over the inner cv joint, as well as the rubber gasket attached to the diff itself (ripped during the last install). I couldn't find the part numbers for either. I am going to order the joint from rock auto, i found one for $86 using the factory part number - hopefully not the type that binds as i've heard from some users. Any help is greatly appreciated, i know i ask more questions than i answer, but hopefully when i learn more i can help out too.
PS ~ the front diff is low right now, will driving it a couple days in 2WD only damage the unit? Thanks again
