My 1990 4runner was broken into a couple of days ago and the S*B's broke one of my rear door vent windows to get into my truck.
I got a local glass shop to put a new window in but it is not tented -- cost me $127.00. Am I getting shafted on the price or is this about right? I am going to go back and try to make them put a tinted one in.
I just wanted to know if there was a place online where I can order this type of glass and replace it myself. Very few 4runners in the local salvage yards and none of yards will part whith the window because the doors are good... they want to sell the door as a complete unit.
The original number of the Toyota Temperlite is 43-r00073.
The number of the untinted repalcement window is Armourplate 43R-00083.
Any help in locating replacement glass would be appreciated.
