Big surprise...They're really popular here in Tennessee.

I remember in college a few of the "country bros" had them on their trucks thinking that would make them "redneck"... even though they were from Farragut and all came from respectable/upper-middle class families.
 
Surprisingly, we sold quite a few when I was in the truck accessories business. They go perfectly with the obnoxious Dodge towing mirrors flipped out even though the truck never tows anything.
