Only open this if you have an OME lift. Quick question.

So a few months ago I installed an OME lift. 884 coils in front and 2895 in the rear.

Anyone have this setup. If so what size tires are you running without rubbing. It seems 255/70/17 fits great but I looked through about 20 pages of the lift and tire thread and only saw one member with an OME lift.

Nope. I'll get getting new tires soon and since I lifted it may as well stuff what I can easily fit in there. I've just heard so many things and various opinions. Just finger did ask those who have the same setup. I dont want to add any spacers either.

i have basically the same set up, i dont have your size tires but i am running 285/75/16 and only rubbing in the front when i turn sometimes (the front part of the fender liner). the rear is all good.

I can't recall which OME I have (heavy - front, medium-rear) with my 285/70/17's but the rub badly when off-road. Nothing to speak of on the pavement though.

I have OME 885's in front and Toytec RCC2.0HD in the rear. I'm running 265/70/17 and no rubbing at all.

I'm hoping for 285's, but will probably end with 275's so I don't have to trim the fender or do a BMC

883s and 255/75/17s

And the only resulting rubbing was on the bit of the mudflap that extends into the wheel well. I Just took the dremel to that part and its fine.

V6, 883's and 895e's paired with Nitrocharger Sport struts & shocks (full OME 'lite' setup). No accessories [weight] other than a bike rack hangin' off-the-back and at the most I'm loaded-up with three guys and gear which is only a moderate load (and I rarely ever tow).

Run 265/65-18 AT-style tires (equivalent of 265/70 17's) and have plenty of room to spare when rolling across typical mountain trails here in CO (rocks, roots, washboards, ruts and approach/departure requiring a reasonable level of articulation, etc.).

I've only had this setup since April but I have had it up in the hills (fishing, biking, casual 4-wheelin'). Admittedly I'm not looking to "beat my ride" and I don't try to max it out so maybe I'm not a good example for input...but nothing remotely close to rubbing with this setup/tire size. Not looking to hammer, cut, grind, or "stuff as much rubber as as I can just because I can either," not necessary for my use.

Poke around with some tire calculators, here's one of many and do some basic measuring before you buy.

Thanks guys. I don't think I'll shoot the 285 route. Really thinking of going 265/70/17 now. Just gotta find a good deal. Sadly I need new UCAs too

OME here with 285/70/17

I have a full OME suspension setup, 883 in the front, 895E in the rear. Last weekend I had 285/70/17 Duratracs installed.

Keep in mind my wheel specs are 17x8 with 0MM offset.

No BMC needed, no rubbing there. Front bumper was slightly trimmed, and fender liners were pushed forward.

I never had front mudflaps, but I would certainly remove those.
