Ooooop's and holy crap - gas fill up

I had about 1/8-1/4 tank left . I was multi tasking and in a hurry and didn't have time to go to my regular station. I filled up with premium by accident ...... $75.00 later I was on my way .....lol. I started the pump and went back in the truck to make a phone call . That will teach me .

Yeah being from potland oregon and driving on the east coast is bad enough. Driving around in oregon when on leave and forgetting about not filling your own gas is the kicker.

Check your MPG on premium. On my 2007 FJ it was cheaper per mile to use Premium. Doesn't seem to be the case on the 4R but I need to check again now that the percentage difference in price between Premium and Regular is shrinking.

The composition of domestic fuel has changed over the last few years MTBE has been replaced by ethanol. This has a negative impact on milage, with a bigger impact on premium.

I filled up a few days ago with regular after the low fuel light came on. $91 (Cdn)! I have never spent that much to fill a gas tank before on any vehicle I owned. I think I put about 76l in at $1.20/litre.

Although I agree that gas prices are ridiculous but I like the fact that 4Runner has decent gas tank size. Should be good for over 700 km / 400 miles highway drive on one tank.
