Open Door Chime

OK, this is wierd. When I shut off the truck and open the door to get out the chime keeps beeping until I shut the door again. When I leave the door, driver side, open and go to the back and open the rear tailgate, the chime stops....

What is the constant chime about? Is this a "don't forget your key" chime?

I believe it is a take your key beep.... Try opening your door without the key in the ignition, that might be a good test:bash:

The chime beeps continuously if you open the driver door, THEN turn off the car. If you turn off the car, then open the door, it shouldn't continuously beep. At least that's with my experience.
