I'm thinking strongly about doing this. Thought I'd let other Ontario 4Runner owners know about it too. Looks to be a decent trail for newbies. Located near Renfrew Ontario, about a 4 hour drive from Toronto. Since it's an "open run" it's for members and non-members alike (non-members need to pay an entrance fee and sign a waiver though). FYI it's weather dependent, so keep an eye on the forecast if you decide to go.

The Gorge has been the traditional location of our Season Opener, and this year is no different. The trail runs along a power line offering a variety of rocky obstacles to play on with the option of bypassing obstacles you don’t feel you, or your vehicle, are quite ready for. As the Season Opener usually attracts a large number of vehicles, please come prepared for a slow pace, with plenty of opportunity to socialize while watching your peers tackle the various obstacles. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members and take some great photos!
Please note that as of now, trail conditions appear to be favorable, however given seemingly non-stop rain we’ve been having and more heavy rain forecast for Saturday, some sections of the trail may be wet and sections of the access road will need to be navigated carefully. Should ground conditions degrade, we may postpone the event to avoid damaging the trail or the access road.
Please keep an eye on the events calendar and watch for notices.
