Need some opinions on a suspension upgrade.

Current:
5100s all around
1.5” spacers in back, stock springs - 1.5” lift
112620 (620lb) springs in front at 0” notch, 1/4” top spacers - 2-2.25” lift
Stock UCAs
No Diff drop
275s

Option #1:
Move 112620 springs to 0.85” notch, remove top spacers - yield about 3” lift
Remove rear spacers, get Superflex springs - yield about 2” lift
No Diff drop
Get UCAs

Option #2:
Toytec BOSS (650lb) w/ Superflex - 3”/2” lift
No Diff drop
Get UCAs

Why am I looking to upgrade? 1) a bit more lift to clear future 285s, 2) better support in back, and 3) because I like it dammit! :) The price difference is obvious, so that’s a given.

I’m asking because I want your thoughts on two things.

1. With Option #1, any performance issues with the springs at the 0.85” notch vs 0” notch/BOSS? Preload? Travel loss? I would obviously prefer this option since it saves money, but not if it means worse performance.

2. With Option #2, have to move the sway bar forward to clear the coilovers, which will, as I believe, contact the left radiator support bar, which means I have to adjust those downward, which means I’ll lose 1/4” clearance with my RCI skids which attach at the front there because they won’t sit flush anymore. I don’t want to lose skid clearance. I heard that OME sells a modified left-side radiator support bracket as part of their BP-51 kit to avoid this, but can't find anyone who may have used it to see if it solved their problem.

Which would y’all do?

Option #1

You will spend less then getting a completely new system.

You aren't loosing travel. You will have the same shocks. You will just be sitting in a different part of the travel. Should ride similar to how you are currently, maybe a tad stiffer but would barely be noticeable.

Plus as you mentioned you won't need to space everything out, loosing a 1/4" of ground clearance.
