Opinion on tires please... Alberta Canada

Just looking for some opinions or experiences. I have an 18 limited. Just ordered 20x9 black rhino and a level kit. I am looking at 275 55 20 tires for it to fix how it looks lol

I am down to 3. I want a do all tire I know some do winter great like winters and some all terrains are suitable. I'm looking for a primarily highway tire but with some sidewall appearance basically for looks. Alberta winters can be nasty. It will be run to mountains for skiing and around town on hard pack. I want to leave them on with the rims year round

I have an 2018 Limited too but my goal was to go back to a 17” rim to have more sidewall for off-roading. As far as looks go, I think a smaller rim with more sidewall looks better than a 20.

Probably not what you want to hear, but with what you mentioned I would look at a solid road tire with a decent snow rating. I know these tires are about as vanilla as they come, but something like a Michelin LTX M/S2 would be my top choice and they make it in a 275/55/20. Especially if you are going with a low pro tire… not like ur using the sidewalls for anything.

I bought the Coopers on my Silverado because it’s a truck that’s about 75% road 25% off-road which includes dirt hard pack construction sites and camping. It does not ride as nice as my Michelin tires on road but they are a good compromise considering it’s an AT. Def a street-centric AT which is what I wanted.

Thanks for reply. I want the sidewall look but I’m not going to use it much. I have been reading and searching and these 3 options give me about the look I want without being too aggressive. I want a little side flair but not all the way to a full all terrain. dealer suggested ko2 but they are more aggressive than I want to go. It is essentially for looks and I would be surprised if this thing ever goes off road as we have another vehicle for that but it will see a fair amount of snow as we are sometimes days without being plowed out.town seems to depend on our chinooks for snow clearing lol

You should add Hankook RF10s into the mix, I have taken them on rocks, water, sand and snow. Loving the drive on the highway in between.

Have you considered Toyo Open Country AT II? In person it doesn't look too over aggressive and looks nice on 20 inch rims

More aggressive treads = more road noise. You might like the look but if the tire hums all the time you'll find yourself wanting to install louder speakers to drown out the hum lol!

I've been quite pleased with the new Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. I have a tread down a few post from yours.

On road manners have been great, and quiet.
Handled service roads just fine.
Waiting for winter to hit to see how they do.

They old AT3's were great. Hoping the 4S redesign/upgrades improve on it.
