Opinions for a lift

So I've been looking into a lift for a 3rd gen for the near future. I have a 95 right now, but I'm planning on selling it within the next month and getting a 3rd gen. I figured it would be best to piece it together now, so my girlfriend doesn't notice or get pissed. I'll just have all the pieces and put it on one day. :banana:
I'm going to be on a budget so I was thinking of doing some LC 7 wraps 3-3.5" in the back and tundra coils in the front 2-2.5". I'm not looking for a major lift and would like a little bit of rake. I have heard that you want the tundra TRD 4wd coils for the front are ideal (3rd gen lift information), but I found this guy who says that the 2wd TRD red/blue bilsteins setup is the best.

Has anyone ever used these or heard of people using them? Would they make that much of a difference on road with the 2wd coils? I'm expecting my first baby this December and I would like a little smoother ride (obviously a lift isn't going to make it smooth at all). Would I have a significant rake? It will be using it as my DD and wheeling on the weekends when I can find time.

You can find that dude BamaChem on Ih8mud.com in the 100 series section since he is a Landcruiser owner now. He could probably answer any question you have about the tundra lift.

Same here. I believe because they are a progressive rate spring and you get a little more lift. There was a thread started by me that was overtaken by a guy getn some red dot tundra springs or something. I'll find it in a second

the 2x4 and the 4x4 both use the same springs for the TRD package, so it doesn't matter what driveline the donor vehicle has as long as it has the TRD suspension on it.

Good to know. I found a tundra parts truck close by and going to see what the guy has. He has the TRD stickers on the back and its a 4x4 so I'm hoping to get the y/y y/b cheap.
