Just curious if anyone is using fox shocks and how the work on a 4 runner? I know
Bilstein is most popular just looking for alternatives

Maybe pros and Cons of the shocks others have used?
Thanks

Mooooooove over Fox, we're the most popular!

Fox shocks work just fine on any Toyota, they're a very good choice. Same with Icon and King and Walker Evans, etc. They're also significantly more expensive. If you're leaning towards a premium shock like this, do some research on the different internal valving systems and what they do, as internal and external adjustment options to make sure you're getting the right shock for your vehicle load, driving style/terrain. You also may want to consider serviceability and making sure you can get them serviced, as they will need to be done every year or two depending on what you're putting them through. Just a few things to keep in mind.

thanks for the info. I am in need of all 4 shocks replaced on my setup so I was looking around. Also, debating on doing a lift at the same time. I want to keep this as a DD but add some height to the stock setup. Dont mind spending the money if its a good choice long term. Dont plan to do a lot of off roading though

Bilstein 5100. You can run lift with them if you want, or run them stock height. They ride really good too. No need in spending the money for fox if it's a street queen.
