Opinions please!!!

Okay, i have found a 4runner that looks like its in really good shape and has everything that i am looking for. Its got 100k miles on it, which is awesome! From the pictures it looks really clean. My dad and i are going to check it out tomorrow and hopefully i will buy it if everything is right. I called the dealer today and he said he will do $9800, (it is priced for $12999). I will try and go even lower but it will be a struggle i'm sure. Let me know what your guys' opinions on it please!

If its all up to date, 9.8k is a decent price for PNW.

Check underneath for any signs of rust. Also ask if timing belt was replaced. If not, it needs to be done soon. Mine was done at 86k and it'll cost a good bit. Overall, looks very clean and fairly priced.

I would try to bring them down more. The nice part about it having 100K miles is if the timing belt and all that is done, then you don't have to spend the extra money. Last year my GF got a 2000 4runner with 67K miles for $9800 OTD. So yeah.....

Yeah im not sure on the maintenance, i know it has a clean title though. I'll have to give them a call again and check with them to see if the timing belt and water pump have been replaced. thanks guys.

Jersey vehicle. Rust is most likely to be present. Don't pay the PNW premium on a NE vehicle.

+1 on Ripcord. Im not quite sure what to give an opinion on. I do not know your style/taste as well as what your intentions are for this 4runner. It has low mileage and seems nice. Check underbody and review maintenance records (If this hasn't been over-said already) and take it for a test drive. From the pictures, it is a clean car, but looks can be deceiving. Go with your gut. Its a 4Runner so your already on the right track. Good luck! Hope to see it on here lifted and crawling up cliffs!
