Don't do it! $16,500?!?!?! WTF!! Way overpriced, that truck should be around $11k tops (stock). And since it looks like crap :toilet:, I'd offer 7k. Just my opinion, keep shopping.

I have to agree, with the bed liner paint job and 33x12.5s I'd say to keep looking. It looks like it's probably been wheeled hard. Pretty good looking truck but I wouldn't want to buy it already modded like that and probably driven hard.

You should be able to find a stock one with the same mileage (that doesn't look like someone wheeled the piss out of it) for around $10-12K and you could easily get all the mods he has and install yourself (or have them installed) for the extra $4K

Oh wow, definitely stay away from that one. That bed liner paint job is pretty mickey mouse. I could see an old toyota that has rust problems getting a paint job like that but not a 4th gen. gross.....

definitely try to find a cheaper stock 4Runner, you'll be much better off and can customize it however you like.

Geez that's just a terrible paint job. And look at all those mods to the left of the steering wheel...who knows if all that crap is installed correctly - I wouldn't want to deal with any malfunctions those things create. It does look like it's been ridden hard and put up wet.

Wow I didn't even see the interior pics until you said that jimithing. Even the door panels are still filthy, on top of the ghetto gauge/switch setup.

Even my GF just said 'wow that looks ragged out' if that means anything to you...

Much better! Maybe some of the '06+ owners will chime in about the price but that looks like a much better investment. Especially if the 'wife' statement is true.

That one looks much nicer! love that color and sport editions leave a lot of room for mods.

can't comment on the price because I think up here in Canada we pay WAY more for our vehicles.

Whoa! Someone put a lot of effort into dikking up a perfectly good 4Runner in that first link!

:bash:

Pretty high priced on the first I agree. I don´t think anyone would sell that for 7,500 but 10-12k for that would be tops. But probably better not to mess with it. It looks like a lot of the mods are pretty jimmy-rigged!

the 2007 is also about 2k high in my opinion you should be able to get a 2005-2007 in the 15-19k range with the v8 and 4x4.

The second one is WAY better. Priced pretty well for Texas. I'd say you could get him down another $1500-$2k. Just make sure you have it looked over by a mechanic real well. There's no recourse with a private buyer if you find something wrong with it after you buy it. Make very sure it shifts into 4 Lo. If it doesn't you're looking at around $2k to fix it.
