I believe it actually has the desirable 4.56 gears since it's a 4x4 3RZ Rear locker combo. Also 8K for 300k+ miles, holy resale value.

This would be a cool project to restore, because from what I've noticed these "perfect spec" trucks were usually special ordered by the buyer when new and that is because they intended to use the hell out of them.

I'd guess it has already had the head rebuilt at some point, but transmission and diffs are absolutely worn to piss. Also add in all the undercarriage bushings. If these things haven't failed yet, then they will.

Shame that it doesn't have the original 16 inch steelies on it.

Definitely a rare bird. Would be sweet to build off of but 300k miles and 8k is asking a bit much despite what they go for nowadays

Pulling a heavy truck with 4 cylinder at 300K miles mean engine rebuild around the corner. Still 8K is tempting.

Original owner probably got $890 for it when they traded it in on a 2021 4Runner. Current seller maybe paid $1800 for it at an auction.

even at 300K on the clock it is a pretty nice 4runner
