Anyone ever try the K & N oil filter? Here is the link for those interested.

Autobarn.com has them listed at $9.44. I've had a seal let loose on a Mobil 1 filter and the description on these sounds pretty good.

I just installed the K & N air filter today, Waiting to see if I notice any differences.

IMHO, K and N oil filters are overpriced just like amsoil, and mobil 1 filters.
You really cant go wrong with OEM, Puralator Pure One or WIX/Napa gold.

Just my 2 pennys.

BTW I noticed 0 difference with the K and N drop in... I am actually taking it out and putting the OEM back in...

The K&N oil filter is a life saver for some vehicles that have their filter located in a tight spot. K&N has a hex nut attached on the end, for easy removal.

Like said above, I see no reason not to use the OE filter. I have used Wix in the past, but I think I will just stick with OEM on this 4runner
