OPT7 42" LED Light Bar - DEAL!!!

Hey guys...I purchased the 22in OPT7 LED light bar a few months back to install with my behind the bumper mounts from @brad. I had the 42inch LED light bar in my shopping cart for awhile to add to my GOBI rack but hadn't pulled the trigger. Quality is pretty good for a lower end LED bar. There was just a price drop on it from $169.99 down to $103. I got one with my prime account and it came today. Just wanted to pass on a good deal for anyone looking for one. I will post up photos once I have time to get it on my GOBI rack. Trying to figure out how to run the wires. My rack is pre-wired but I don't want to run it all the way to the back tailgate. Need to figure out a way to run it down the front windshield into the hood.

I got the same light bar on my Gobi, I had to widen the mounting brackets that came with the rack for the light bar to go in. The 42 in was just a bit too long, but its an easy enough fix with a drill/dotco and an arbor. I ran the wire down the windshield channel...easy install other than the slotting of the mount bracket holes.

Can you post some photos of the bracket you had to modify? I wanna make sure I have all the parts before I start working on it.

I tried to take some pics but didn't quite work out. But check these out anyways, you just basically have to slot the mounting brackets about an extra 1/2 inch (i think it was a 1/2). You can also use the mounts that come with the light bar itself, I just decided to use the ones that came with the rack.

Hope that helps. You just need to make them go just a bit wider to accommodate the light bar width.

Some of these on a drill is what I used as well, Arbors/Grinders, what ever they are called!
