Unfortunately we do not currently produce a yellow top in the group 34R. However you can use a yellow top D35 in your 4Runner, which has the reverse terminal like the 34R.

Please feel free to contact customer service at the number below if you have any other questions. Thank you for your interest and support of Optima Batteries.

On some batteries the terminals are slightly center-mounted. So flipping the battery around can work. And many times a Mod to the battery hold-down clamp needs to be done. My point is, with a little driveway engineering you can fit many batteries that are not suppose to fit. But that is good news about the D35!

Just to let you know, Consumer Reports recently rated batteries and the brand they sell at Walmart came out on top.

walmart everstart ???? sounds like crap. i think ive seen them tryin to copy optima batteries by putting on a red colored top to their line of batteries

Did you test them against about 12 of the top selling batteries?

No? Lacking any other valid comparisons I'd go with their test results. And it is nice that the best battery is only $69 compared to $170. Better batterty, less than half the price.

What they are testing is the question, for the regular grocery-getter corolla, that draws a whole 20A to start the damn thing, im sure they work fine, put it in an SUV, a car with an audio sytem, lights, anything that puts more strain on the electrical system, and im sure it wont hold voltage well..

Meh everything has is place, there is an optima in my car, and it works ALOT better than the old duralast battery from autozone.

gel-type is cool too..if you want to flip your car upside-down lol..
