Options for Fixing my 4Runners Saggy Butt

My '94 4Runner has a fair amount of saggy butt and I was wondering what my options are for fixing it? I would like to keep it as cheap as possible. I noticed that the shocks look like they've seen better days. Would just replacing them help the problem, or do I need something more? And while the topic is brought up, what shocks would y'all recommend for a '94 4x4?

Weak worn springs causes butt sag. New springs are the cure, spacers are a bandaid.
Shocks control suspension rebound, not ride height.

Any idea what new springs cost? And what exactly are the spacers you're talking about? Would they be similar to the auto spring spacer I had on my coil overs on my '05 F150?

i wouldnt even worry about spacers... not worth the money. you can get new "toyota 4runner" coils or you can get some coil springs out of a mid 70's toyota land cruiser and cut them down a little bit, i found a set at the scrap yard for 30 bucks. theres cheap for ya...
and shocks i got mine off ebay, they are pretty decent. i think it was 120 for a whole set of 2-3 inch lift shocks

i went through the same exercise with replacing the rear springs to get rid of the sag.

Have you stopped by your local Toyota dealership to see if your vehicle qualifies for the 20A campaign? I am not sure which years qualify, I know all 4runners have the sag issue, but certain ones got "fixed" by Toyota with this campaign.

How are you liking the ride with the HD springs, icdawg? I'm about to order everything in a month or so.
