Long story short, all the hub studs with the spherical bearings are frozen on. I've tried it all and am just down to removing the studs. Would like to go ahead and replace them while they're out but the only option I've seen was the upgraded kit that is like $80 from TG or stock. I don't even know how much stock was are but somehow I doubt it would be a cheaper options. Anybody know of other options to source these little guys?

Proper procedure is to use a brass drift pin and a hammer. Place the drift pin on the end of the stud and hit it with the hammer untill the cone washer is jarred free.
No need to replace for unless your running large tires. Just clean up and re use the stockers.

If you can't get them out, how are you going to replace them?
My hubs always have a bunch of flat spots from where I hammer them next to the studs to break the washers free. Lots of PB Blaster, then some heat and the BFH, they'll come.

brass drift and a 4lb sledge, hammering the hub, prying the spacer in the cone washer, days of PB Blaster......seriously guys, I've tried everything from the boards to the list on 4crawler, except an air chisel because I just don't have one. That's why I'm just going to remove the studs. But I'm sure I'll damage one or two and being 25 years old and half corroded and rusted, I'd figure I'd just replace them why they're out. That's why I'm looking to find a reasonalby priced stud replacements. I've also thought about drilling them out and tapping for the larger studs that is fairly cheap and definately stronger but more work than I really want to mess with right now.
