Options for rear diff skid

Just wondering what is available for rear diff skids or armor? I took a couple good hits last weekend.

I have one that welds on to protect the thin rear cover. It does not wrap underneath. It is made by Sky Manufacturing Toyota Ring Gear Guard - Sky's Off-road Design It holds up well.

I've heard of people cutting an 8 inch pipe cap in half and welding it to the rear diff.

It's not pretty but as you can see, I use it. I did have to drill a hole to remount the brake cable mount. A friend of mine welded a nut higher then remounted the hanger. It's a balance between getting it high and out of the way but the higher you go the tighter the cable gets.

That's freakin sick... whoever made that may be on to something! I do like that a lot. There's a market for something like that if he wants to make a few more, me included!!

Just know you’ll lose a little on ground clearance. Between pumpkin and rocks.

Yeah the BAMF ones claim the loss is only the thickness of the metal but I'm at the point where I can't justify any more money going towards this vehicle.

I need a panhard bar still so that's first lol.
