Orange County Shop?

I am thinking about getting some bushwacker flares and rock sliders soon... and some other off road upgrades down the line. Any recommendations for a quality off road shop to get these installed at (Preferably within 30 miles of the Brea/Fullerton area)?

Two shops I know of

1) Hiro's Enterprises Inc | Hiro's Auto Repair | Costa Mesa, CA

3042 Enterprise St. | 714-545-5090

Hiro's was personally recommended to me by the guy I bought my Camry from. They are an independent shop and you can talk to the OWNER any time you have a question or issue about prices or policy.

Hiro's is not a truck specialty shop, if you are looking for that then make the trip to Miramar and go to the Truck Shop.

2) The Truck Shop in Miramar, north San Diego
The Truck Shop - San Diego - Toyota, Lexus, Scion

This is the shop I have been going to for 5+ years. They are very knowledgeable, better than the dealer in my experience. They charge very fair labor - I think $75 - 80 / hr.

They do everything from engine overhaul, fab work, lifts, working on diesels. They specialize in Toyota trucks but will do American or import as well.

The Truck Shop is also independently owned. The owner is James, he is down there everyday and knows more about Toyota trucks than anyone I've ever talked to. He has a team of mechanics and they have always done right by me.

You can have a wrench party and have a bunch of us local guys wrench on your stuff. Usually only costs good BBQ and beverage. You can also take it to Jimmy at Outdoor Logic, he is a vendor on here and I feel is important to support small business and ones involved in our sport. Any questions shoot me a PM. I know Drifter33 and I have installed suspension and or body lifts as well as other work on several other members rigs as well as our own and there are a few others that also help out. if you want a shop then take it to Outdoor Logic.

I am trying a wrench party going sometime soon to get my lift installed. Let me know if you want to piggy back.

Disclaimer: I have no idea how long either of our mods take, so this could not be feasible.

Just saying!

i dont think its really necessary to pay someone to put the flares on, if you can use a screwdriver, a drill, and rivet gun then you could do it yourself.

Too scared to drill my doors on my own, although I know once I commit to it I will probably do a better job than somebody else.

if you are installing the limited flares you w will find them a major PIA.

I dont know about the sr5. there are write ups.
