Orange Peel anyone?

I never really noticed it before until my friend pointed it out yesterday when mounting my wheels. I have some really hardcore orange peel happening just below my door. Seems like thats the only place its at on both sides. Anyone else have this?

It's a clear protective film applied at the factory...

It'll start peeling off after a few months...be patient..:wink2:

It is 'normal', noticed it on mine when I took delivery back in Nov. If you look, it gradually fades as it goes up the doors, was told by the dealer and others on the forum is is a protective layer, rock chips, etc. Every new 4R I have seen has it as well.

It won't peel off. What Titanpat is thinking of is on the TEs, the clear bra film. What you have is an extra thick coating of clear coat to protect from chips. Totally normal. My WRX had the same thing, thought it wass pretty clever.

My T4R also has this in the same location. Glad to hear it is 'normal'.
