Ordering experience - pleasantly surprised

[LP_4Runner]

I ordered a 4Runner around the middle/end of October and am pleasantly surprised that it just now showed up on the Southeast region's incoming vehicles inventory as due on 1/28 (reserved of course, but the web site won't show this). Much faster than I anticipated And, the exact configuration I wanted:

4Runner 4x4 V8 LTD
Shadow Mica/Stone
Nav
X-REAS
Air Suspension
Rear Spoiler

Note what is not here...a sunroof. Yes, Toyota will build a Limited without a sunroof (I'm 6'4" and wanted the extra headroom) - at least for the Southeast they will. I was concerned at first that this might cause an issue or at least a lot of rejected order cycles but apparently not.

So needless to say I'm very pleased...and anxiously awaiting the end of the month

Congrats on the new 4Runner! I am surprised Toyota would build such a fully loaded Limited without a sunroof.

I was surprised too, but have since found out that the Southeast region (SET) tends to be a bit more flexible in vehicle ordering than the other regions. Its still a bit of a pain to do, but you CAN pretty much get anything you want without having seriously painful hoops to leap through.
