I used the OME medium on my Pathfinder- definitely a bit too rough with little compliance over bumps or expansion joints. Even with heavy-duty bumpers and gas cans, I'll go with something 10%-15% stiffer than stock. The bucking get a bit old and it cannot be good for the vehicle's other suspension parts.

My rear doesn't Buck anymore now that I have the CBI bumper on. As soon as I get my shrockworks front bumper and winch installed it should be good.

Just got a PM back from Toytec, looks like I'm going with the light coils. If/when I do upgrade to a Demello I'll just buy new springs

Have you thought about the ToyTec coilovers for the front? Yes they cost a little more but you can dial in the exact height you want, now and later.

I went coils first then later switched to COs. I wish I just spent a little more at first and went for the COs.

Not a bad suggestion, pair it with 5100 rears and Toytec superflex coils. Would most likely smoother on road than ome without sacrificing off road performance.

I'm running the ToyTec COs w/600# coils (sure it's a 3rd gen, I'm not sure if you would want the 600 or 650# coils) The 600# coils ride and flex well for me. Call ToyTec and talk to Dylan or Jeff, they will set you up right.

Idk what you're money is like, but ome is around $800 iirc. If you shop around, you can piece together the tt ultimate kit for just over $900, opposed to $1180 from Toytec. Just an fyi.

I went ahead and ordered the light duty coils. All in all it cost me $775 shipped to my door. I can't wait to put it on and will post up a review of how they ride. I saved a few dollars because I bought my top plate spacers from ARK almost 6 months ago! They finally get to get put to good use

Haha, about time! Let us know how it goes and your thoughts after the install. The 884s may be better than the 885s. And, as this thread has shown, plenty of folks love the 885s.
