Ordering Toytec Ultimate This Week

Hey guys, so im done scrimping and saving and im ready to order a lift. After i looked at everything i felt that the Toytec Ultimate Lift was the best for me and a fair price. So i am ordering the 650lbs front coils, ome 891 rear coils, and the procomp 9000 series shocks. So my question is; is this a good combo, any suggestions, or coupon codes lol? :hungry:

Are going to get or already have an aftermarket front bumper and carry a lot of weight in the back? If not, the 650lb fronts with the 891's might ride too stiff.

I have the Ultimate Lift too but with the 600lb front coilovers, 890 rear coils, and OME Sport Shocks and I like that setup. I don't carry too much weight in the back and I have no plans on adding an aftermarket bumper anytime soon.

I would stick with what you were planning on ordering. The 890's wont give you very much lift at all and the 650lb coils shouldnt be to stiff. Ive got 650lb coils on my sway away coilovers and they ride pretty firm on the street with the tundra valving but smooth out when your offroad, and i have lc coils and shocks out back. So far im really liking this setup and it cost me about the same as it would have buying the toytec ultimate but i have real coilovers and the lc shocks flex awesome and ride great. Not trying to sway you at all just saying that if you go with the toytec (which is really convenient since you get everything you need in one package) that id stick with your original plans.

How much are just the front coilovers? Becuase I hated my 891's. Unless you plan on getting a steel rear bumper and/or carry a lot of gear all the time, don't get them. You may be better of with some Land Cruiser coils, less than $100 for a set. Then just get some bilstien shocks or OEM replacement LC rear shocks.

And same deal with the fronts, unless you plan on a steel bumper, and soon, don't get heavy duty coils.

I got the 891's and 90 percent of the time I have nothing in the back and no rear bumper. I, my girlfriend, hell even my Mom don't mind the ride. I think it's fine. And when I do load up my camping gear, or 600# of rocks for my mom, it makes me even happier I got the 891s.

IMO the 650's are too stiff. Thats what i got right now, and i dont like it. I'm swapping them out for 600s or maybe even 550's. not sure yet.

thanks for the advice guys, its really appreciated. I am going to stick with my original plans though because im planning on building my bumper about a month after the lift so i can probably deal with any stiffness for a month while im making my bumber. Im planning on making a rear tire carrier on a rear bumper as well so i would think stiffer coils would be better for the added outward weight on the rear, also i often tow a trailer too so i want the coils as stiff as possible. My last trucks lift coils did major sagging and looked like sh!t so i want the least chance of sag as well.
