Orion Subwoofers?

anybody know anything about these kind of subs? my local radioshack has two tens of these in a box for about 150. i was gonna get just two kicker comp 10s but the guy told me that the orions would still pound.

anybody else's opinion who isn't just trying to make a sale?

Anything will pound, but is it gonna sound good? Two subs in a box for 150...... probably not the best quality.

I would probably go with Kicker. Were you looking at the CVX line?

i'm debating if i should just go ahead and save the coin and get two cvr 10s instead.

Are you set on getting two 10" subs? What amp were you going to buy to power them?

by saving the coin i meant actually saving my money and going with the kicker 10s as i know they are a better sub and many people them.

and for amp i was gonna get a power acoustiks 600 watt.

Orion used to be competition line. Now they have just faded away. New companies made better stuff and orion failed to update. The old XTR's were awesome. I had 4 12's in the extended cab of a 96 nissan pickup and the were SOOOO loud. I used two Phoenix Gold Zero point amps to run them.

i believe these were called cobalts or something alone those lines.

they didn't seem to look that new at all
