Other side of throttle body

So i cleaned that throttle body. Noticed a large amount of carbon/black sludge build up on the other side of the throttle body. Not sure what this is or how to clean? Any suggestions or links to find out how and what?

Just spray throtle body cleqner and wipe off, pretty sure u can wipe some of the sludge off on the intake manifold hole too.

It appears that maybe the K&N oil has been a little much. Its possible that I should figure out how to clean the intake and maybe the jets.

Any suggestions or links to do this?

To clean the back of the throttle body, I just unbolt it from the intake manifold (4 bolts), leave the coolant line hooked up. Then lay it face down on a rag and just blast it with cleaner and let it drip through down on the rag. Not sure if that was your question or not, but I hope that helps.

Well yes, cleaning this would be good and also Is there a service for cleaning the intake and jets? Link or youtube?

What type of cleaner? The throttle body and the intake manifold is pretty gummy and just spraying didnt seem to removed the black tar material.

Is it possible that i have a gasket that needs to be replaced? Any links regarding these questions would be helpful.

I guess to be thorough, you'd have to remove the intake manifold and clean it in a part washer. I don't know that anybody actually goes to that extreme. I just used some good ole Seafoam.
