OTOC Meet and Greet Lloyd Center April 17th

I literally laughed out loud! Gangs in Portland?! Do they roll up on single speed bikes with full grown beards and threaten you with gluten free pizzas? Or are they armed with scoped hunting rifles and blaze orange vests?

So far, the only gangs I've come across in town are the homeless. I did buy a bike from a meth dealer in SE, though.

I know that [MENTION=84548]NoHair[/MENTION] would love to flex his box truck there. [MENTION=54404]jbstrd[/MENTION] will witness it.

Yea, Believe it or not Portland has plenty of issues. Seems like they have a shooting every other night. Some of their drama spills across the river and I get to deal with that first hand.

I would love to meet up again and check out [MENTION=84548]NoHair[/MENTION] doing the "box van flex." Yes, I did witness it last time:bravo:

haha! I find it hilarious how some people label Portland. I'm not going to start a bashing war on here, but to label an entire city as problematic and dangerous is inadequate. Washington isn't all the great either… lets just be real here folks, all inner cities have their fair share of issues.

Hell, me wearing a hoodie and a Boston baseball cap is considered gang affiliation these days. I'm just saying keep an open mind folks and get rid of the misconceptions and bias.

This isn't directed at anyone, I'm just saying it to keep the peace so that we all can have a good time regardless of the locations.

I agree. I was not meaning to bash on Portland as a whole. Portland has many great qualities about it. However, as you mentioned, all inner cities have their faults that you can not deny. With that said, Portland has way fewer issues than a lot of the other inner cities around the country.

I like portland too, but I try to greatly limit my time at the Lloyd center... Its not one of the nicer areas of town... At least once or twice a week there is some sort of gang fight or violence there.
