Our '00 SE on the beach in Baja

Here's a picture of my wife posing next to the family 4-Runner. Location? Beach side on the Sea of Cortez; San Felipe, Baja, Mexico. We took a full week camp trip with our two kids, spending the days lazily hanging out under the shade of our palapas on the beach. The drive from Santa Cruz to Mexico was great, about 14 hours total.

Did you guys stop by Rosarito? I'm going there soon

No Rosarito that trip, it's on the Pacific Coast. We crossed the border at Calexico, and then headed south through Mexicali on 5. My kids were very imprressed by the machine gun toting Federales at all the road blocks along the way.
