Our Sunday drive

Howdy, folks. Our Sunday drives don't get too crazy, but they are usually very nice for views. Just figured I would share for those of us who may not have been able to get out there this weekend.
Montana offers many a road to explore. We camp a lot, but usually with the 4runner, dog and a wall tent, comfy-like, so we enjoy driving as far out as we can with what we've got and enjoying the wheeling fun we can get. hope you enjoy this from work and smile!

Yeah this is from one of my past "Sunday Drives" here in Houston. That's why the pics above make me want to :cry2:!

However, let me go on the record by saying that I am not bashing TX. I've seen some really beautiful country in TX. I just happen to not live close to it. Don't want the natives to come hunt me down and burn me at the stake for bashing TX.

For the meantime I will just have to live vicariously through the awesome views of MT posted above.

YIKES!

That picture of Houston just makes you want to go visit green places like this. Here's a Sunday drive we made going south on Skyline Drive - overlooking the Shenandoah River valley in Virginia.

Whoa!! That pic of Huston made my lungs clamp shut!! Too bad the fun stuff is far away from you!
Boy, that pic of Virginia sure is nice though!!

Yeah I am on a permanent Allegra D waiver just to keep my job. It's crazy. Told the wife today to pick MT or CO cause in 5 years I am done. I'll pay to send her to the beach 3 times a year, but I have had enough of Tropical Storm / Hurricane response and the crappy air / scenery. :dammit:

Did I mention that it is a nice and humid 104d today? :barf:

That's what my skin feels like after soaking up the crappy air and ridic temps on days like today.

Thanks for sharing; those are some great pics!

Looks like this is turning into a scenery thread! I'm going to Milligan College in Johnson city TN next year. That's my campus in the background.

Oh, and their school colors are orange and black...

Those are some nice pics there, they look similar to the scenery here. Here's one I snapped a while ago overlooking part of the town.
