Out West 2006

We had another great opportunity to visit the west again recently, our 4th trip into this magnificent area in the 4Runner. This one was less mileage than the one in 2004

I am originally from Louisiana too and when I saw the wide open west like in your photo's I was speachless. The beauty and Big Sky are a sight definately to see. Looks like you took backroads, that is what I did, find the smallest road on the map and go.

Great pics, I love the wide open spaces of the west and the mountains. I try to make it out to Colorado once a summer, but Im not going to make it this year. Did you plan the entire trip, or just find a hotel in the town where you ended up at night?

Great pictures. I went out West last year and it was really nice. When I went gas prices were slightly low than my home. I am sure you spent a ton of $$$ on gas for this year.

I washed my car 3 times when I went out West due to all the mud / dust. That is how a 4Runner should look, full of mud or dust.
