Does anyone else here enjoy an outdoor movie night? We do quite often and I recently upgraded.
We celebrated the 4th of July a day early and after an awesome BBQ and when the dark set in everyone watched the video of our last Big Bear adventure followed by Batman - Dark Night Rises.
Setup:
110” projection screen that has a one piece aluminum frame that collapses origami style. The screen has snap buttons and the whole thing packs into a 30 x 8 x 4” case. It takes about 10 minutes to set it up or take it down.
Projector is a cheaper 1080p capable 1200 lumen LED lighted with HDMI input.
Notebook computer with Windows 7 and HDMI output
2 TB portable HD with 100+ BR and 400+ DVD movies burned to MP4
Large speaker that is a karaoke player and Bluetooth compatible.
2 Pyle stands to hold the notebook and projector.
It’s crude but works well and so far everyone that has been here has enjoyed it.
