Which one are you talking about? I started a thread about a week ago with someone else doing a 0-top speed and 0-60 in an 05 V8 on streetfire.net, but that looks like the one you posted. I also took some personal video of my 0-60, but I don't think you'd want it to compare as my time was about 8.2 seconds, gotta love that thin rocky mountain air!!

I timed yours as about 8.2 seconds, which is about on-par for non-vvti 4Runners. The 4Runners with vvt-i run about 7.2-7.5 second 0-60's, which is a pretty big difference. I've raced and been door to door with cars that run 6.9 0-60 (at sea level) like the '05 pontiac GTP supercharged, and '03 BMW X5 4.4i. You should test drive though to feel it for yourself. Also, stock vvt-i V8 4Runners are said to run in the low to mid 15's (quarter mile) stock.

Cool, thanks for the info. I would like to see that video of yours if i could, just looking to compair how the flowmaster sounds vs. the magnaflow.

Outrunner,you should run the truckfest at Bandi this summer and we'll see how slow my 3.4 is compared to your new engine.:p

Hey Freezy, Sorry man the sound on my video is bad, its very quiet and you can't even hear the exhaust until high rpms. In real life, it doesn't sound much different than your video did.

I plan on running this summer sometime and Bandimere after I tune using an AFC. Do you know any altitude adjustment factors for 0-60 times? All I can find is quarter mile elapsed times and I haven't run an official quarter mile, yet...

Bandimere has random drag days almost every week this summer for $30 each night. I plan on getting out there after my tune is done. Maybe we can set up a local meet...
 
I'll have to look around for a correction factor. I know i've seen it, just cant remember where. I'll look and let you know.
