over drive with 4wd

Got a question, I had my runner in 4wd and I have to turn Over drive (o/d) off however I accidentally turned over drive on while it was in 4wd.

Will that hurt anything in the tranny?

also, I over filled the engine oil. Will that hurt that engine because of the excessive oil?

Not completely sure you are serious, but from here on I will assume you are.

There is nothing wrong with using O/D in 4wd.

Too much oil being a problem depends how much over you went. If it were me and it was any more than 1/2 a quart or so I would probably drain it. If you have too much the crank will whip it into a foam and it won't be able to lubricate properly. Also remember only judge by the dipstick, some oil filters are larger than stock and allow for extra oil. As a side note, how much did you put in?
