Overcharged my a/c, what now?

Had to charge the ac in my 200sx. When I was charging it the gauge was moving very slowly....so I kept filling it. Finally I took the can off and ran the car. Ac worked fine so I moved on. Today I checked it to see if it had lost any psi and the gauge is reading around 65psi. I have been using the ac for a week or so now and had no problems. Should I be concerned? I have read that if it didn't blow up yet I am most likely ok, but not too sure. What are your guys thoughts???

just talked to my buddy that's a tech, hes gonna evac and recharge the system for me this afternoon.

Well, 65 psi (assuming outside is something close to 65 degrees) after the vehicle has been sitting for a few hours untouched sounds about right for pressure. A rule of thumb that was passed onto me was that on a sitting car with the A/C not run it should be roughly the same pressure as degrees outside on a good A/C.

But I would just have your buddy do it right for you.
