The overdrive button is stuck in the "in" position. It appears that the spring might be broken as the button will not pop back out. It just stays in. The overdrive is on because it will shift into OD off light is not on.
How does the shift lever cover come off? Do you think removing the the shift lever cover will allow me to see or repair the button? Right now I can NOT take it out of overdrive.
