Overextention with topout's??

Has any one had any problems with overextention with topout spacers?

I have heard of it happening. Although, I have seen first hand by using top spacers, when the suspension fully compresses hard, the strut will fully compress before the bumpstop contacts the A-arm. Resulting in all of the vehicle weight being supported by the strut only causing the strut to collapse and fail.
