So i checked around but couldn't find any threads on it...
but I've just acquired a 1993 4runner w/o a sunroof.
I'm wanting to get some info regarding the installation of an overhead console.
#1 I want to go cheap... really cheap.
If anyone has any information about how to take a console from another make/model of vehicle and apply it to a 4runner that would be great.
Also, items that i should keep in mind while shopping for potential units. I've never done anything like this before, so i'm not sure what to look for. Ceiling curvature... how it affixes to the roof (sheetmetal screws?)... anything would be helpful.
