Overhead storage

Has anyone tried to add a FJ overhead storage device? I opted for a 4Runner without sunroof and looking for a clean install of 2way radio, etc.

I haven't see something like that in a 4R but i am sure it could be made to work. I can't remember which member it was but they did a really cool CB install where the map lights are. The took the stock map lights out and made a custom console that held the CB and integrated new map lights. I am sure if you search for CB Mount you can find the thread

I seen those on toyteclifts website, Id also like to know if they will fit in a 4th gen

My one complaint about the 4th gen 4Runner is lack of cubby-type storage. There's just not enough of it. I wish there were some storage under the rear seats or something for jumper cables, etc.

I hope someone has tried this and can give a nod if it worked. Or if someone else makes something like it.
