Some friends and I in GA were just talking about going. I think we have a good 6-7 rigs that might be going. Not sure about the local 4R groups here, there are a lot roaming around.

I'm actually headed up to Mills River/Asheville that weekend for Oktoberfest at the Sierra Nevada brewery.

I think the only day I will have to attend is Friday.

Peach State Overland #OverlandSocial

Hey guys. If you're coming to Expo East this year (2017), come by the Peach State Overland campsite on Saturday evening between 7-10pm for a special Expo Edition of our #OverlandSocial. BYO-Food, we'll bring the beer, and some other goodies/surprises.

I'll be there. Just bought my first T4R last week and I'm looking forward to checking out all the gear and everyone's rigs. I think this will make for a great 1st roadtrip with the new T4R and an even better opportunity to figure out what mods I want.

at least from my group of guys, yeah. It's pretty close timing wise to the Roundup for me to make it, but it's not a cheap event to attend.

Might go to URE for the day instead, but even that's not a given. father and husband life may prevent me from scratching that itch.

My social media feed cracked me up, so many self sufficient off the grid rigs...that people left out while they stayed at the hotel. /sigh

I don't want to crap on what the OE folks do at all, but I'm not sure I'll head back as long as they keep it at the Biltmore. Hands down an amazing venue, but you'll pay every penny for it (even if it's for a day pass).

Just my feelings, I know plenty of guys enjoy it. Definitely a "to each their own" moment. I guess I'd just rather wheel.

I didn't think that value was there last year with having to buy an extra pass for Biltmore, but this year I paid $15 for a Sunday day pass which gave access to the expo site and the Biltmore grounds. Couldn't go in the house, but for $15 I thought it was a pretty good deal.
