Overland Rallies!

For those who wish to learn more about long distance vehicle dependent expeditions and travel (aka Overlanding), there are now regional Overland rallies.

The first regional rally will be held at Hollister Hills in California on September 23-26 2010, followed by additional regional events in Texas, Georgia, Vermont, and Washington.

There has never been a more exciting time of growth in the Overlanding community. At the regional rallies there will be:

- Overland Workshop by Overland Training
- Overland chef demonstration and training
- Local 4WD and Moto adventures
- Expedition Trophy Competition
- Photography and Videography training
- Adventure motorcycle course
- Family adventure planning
- Overland driving course
- Onsite camping
- Movie Night

- Feature Vehicles

Thanks for the info Mr. L. I would love to go to one of these rallies! This one at Hollister is actually on my b-day so that would be very cool. The bay area is like 600 miles away so I will be "overlanding" the 5 freeway just to get there! I'm going to see what I can do about getting off work!

I will be working the event, but will be helping to lead a few trail runs. I'll probably be behind the scenes most of the time, but I'm sure there will be time for a couple tasty adult beverages.
