Owners' Manual Cover?

Just curious--did the owners' manuals in anyone's new rigs come in a black cover or case? I bought a '16 trail a few months ago, and all of the manuals were just loose in the glove box. I asked the dealer if there was a case for them, but they said there was not. My wife's Sienna had a black case for the manuals, so I found it odd that Toyota wouldn't include one for the 4Runner.

No with tax here mine cost $62K....it came with nothing but the the manuals shoved in the glove box. First vehicle ive ever bought that didn't have the usual black cover or binder style...:tinfoil3:

My 17 came with an ugly red case. Both of my daughters bought Prius C's, I had to ask for cases

Yes, I received a plastic case in my '17 4Runner to hold owners manual, etc.
Jeep doesn't provide owners manual in Wrangler, had to request from FCA, that is pushing it.

I got a '17 SR5 a couple weeks ago. The 5 manuals were in a padded vinyl case that says Toyota on the lower front. This one on ebay says it's OEM and looks similar: Toyota Owners Manual Cover Case OEM Brand NEW | eBay

My 2015 did and when I saw my 2017 didn't I took it off my old one when I traded it in. My new one didn't have the rear carpet mat and I took it out my old one too lol

2016 SR5--manuals crammed in a cheap-ass vinyl pouch with dealers name on it. Classy!

I think its a dealer add. Manuals probably come shrink wrapped. The intern in charge of new vehicle prep probably ran out of stock and just threw them in the glove box.

That or your dealer is cheap and can't afford the profit loss on the $20 case.
