Owners Manual

Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section. For some reason when we bought my wifes 4runner the guy had lost the owners manual and all. Does anyone have any extra or know where i can get one? I know the stealership has them, but kinda looking at saving the bank account. I'll check on ebay also, i just thought some of you guys might have an extra one laying around. Also hers is an 06 4runner Limited 4x4.

I have it on PDF for an 07. If you want, I can send it via megaupload or one of those sites. Or it's on ebay for 10-15 bucks.

If you register with the Owners' section of the toyota.com Web site, they give you access to the PDF version online for free.

Yeh i have the one online saved to my computer, but i'd like to have the actually hard copy because sometimes it is hard to slide a computer under the vechicle with you. . J/K but i would really like to have one to keep in the vechicle if possible. Thanks

I think they're only $15 at the dealer. They're all over eBay, but going rate is still $10 - $15.

Only $15 at the dealer, that surprises the heck out of me. May have to check into that.

Another question, What all comes in a new 4runner? Doesn't the manual have a nice cover that holds it? Also is there a specific manual for the the limited or does the one manual cover your year model.

My 06 did not come with a portfolio to keep the manuals in.
There is an Owners Manual (one covers all engines/powertrains/trims), Scheduled Maintenance Guide, Warranty Guide, "Lemon Law" Guide, and a tire warranty. If you have a model with navigation, then there's an additional manual for that.

My '08 Sport came with just the manual; no cover. I recently sold my '00 SR5 but kept the nice faux leather zippered embossed binder that holds the manual and a myraid of other stuff.

Typically, a single Owners Manual covers all sub-models and OE options.
