PA system for 4runner?

Few quick questions.
What are some good brands of PA systems for a 4runner?
How much do they cost?
Are they easy to install?
Any sites you recommend to purchase them from?

Usually they are operated off of a CB/PA capable unit (lowest cost)
And they are easy to install, if you go the CB route after a CB with a PA jack you just add a PA type speaker and your set.

where can I get this equipment and how much does it cost?

It depends on how much you want to spend really. Anywhere from $40-400, if you just ebay, amazon or google you will find a plethora of information. Hornblasters.com has one for $30, just remember the higher wattage you go the louder it will be. My patrol car has 200 watts, so its very loud.

This is a letter/spirit of the law situation. Would I cite? depends on if your a trogg to me or not, most likely not. It is 27007 CVC which is noise over 50 feet basically. Just a little fine...........California deficit style. =)

I Just added a PA to my CB setup too, i paid about $30 for just the speaker. lot of fun, just don't be Dumb with it.

I used a cb with a pa setting on it. With 2 fire alarm loudspeakers hidden in the bumper. Wired the cb to a alpine 100X2 rms amp hooked to the speakers. also had it swichable to the stereo. it was fun for awhile . Much louder than cops pa's lol
