Pacific Northwest Ideal AT tire

Bumping an old thread instead of creating a new one. As this is about 4 years old now, wanted to get feedback from the users here on AT tires that are suitable for the rain and snow for the PNW.

The K02s that are on the rig are nearing the end of their life, the rubber is about as hard as a rock. Even new, aired to 38ish PSI for the street, the back end loved to step out on the zebra stripes.

Are the K03s any better? Should we go with a completely different tire?

I had the Toyo at 2. Now have the Toyo At 3. I have been very happy with both.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT e-rated on 4Runner that lives in Stevensville, Montana. They are 3 peak rated and excellent in snow. Better yet, we have 80K miles on the current set and they should go to 90K.

+1 For Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws. Only way you’re losing traction in the rain is if you floor it with your steering maxed.

General grabber AT2. ive almost always put these on my vehicles, including my WRX (thats a story for another time). they handle pretty great in all conditions, clear fast from snow, not the BEST in mud, but work well

I'm in the 206, and Again, I'll vouch for the Les Schwab Open Range. Great in the wet, quiet, good mileage (23 avg on a trip to big sky and back) really great in pnw snow, as well as dry rockies fluff. And they wear like iron. And you can't beat Les Schwab for customer service.

My Toyo AT2 lasted longer than any tire I've ever had in my life.

I replaced with Toyo AT3 which are slightly louder on the road but amazing grip. About to try them out in the first snow of the winter, which is falling right now.
