Paint Code for silver running boards

DOes anyone know the paint code for the silver on the runningboards/roofrack? I want to get my running boards painted to match the silver on the roof rack.

Well, the code for the "Titanium Metallic" paint job is 1D4, but a few people have said that while it is a close match, it's not exactly the same as the roof rack and running boards.

Do you think the paint will survive on the running boards? You might want to go with a body shop that will guarantee against chipping/peeling.

im going to check with my paint guy today about using an enamel of some sort on them or maybe just getting them powder coated would be easier. I didnt think about the paint chipping.... good lookin out!

Keep us posted on how you decide to proceed and what color and type paint you use. I've been meaning to do the same thing on my 03 blue SE. The blue and silver definitely work well together!

I am going to talk to my paint guy today about possibly powder coating the running boards... i will keep yall posted.

Can you powder coat plastic? I thought during the powder coating process, they bake the powder so that it "melts" and forms a coating. The stock running boards are plastic with a metal chansis underneath.
